ABOUT LLAMASODA

As a lover of food, traveling, and writing, it was only natural that I would create a blog to share all the delicious foods and beautiful views the world has to offer! Juggling between college and work and having a somewhat inconsistent and unreliable creative drive makes writing for the blog challenging, but I still would like to ask (or beg, to be honest) for you to stay and keep yourself updated with the posts that appear here occasionally, for there are lots of millennial-ish sarcastic humor to be tolerated in the writing (I am Gen-Z surprisingly!…) and lots of great places to discover and to eat!

FAQs (THAT NO ONE REALLY ASKED)

Q. THE WORLD IS DYING TO KNOW, WHY “LLAMASODA”?

A. Coming up with a unique name that not only stands out but also is SEO-friendly in this extremely overpopulated planet that is blogging is nothing less of a Herculean task, so I really had to think out of the box and come up with something totally random but also somewhat personal to yours truly… So, I used my last name “LAMA” and added an extra L to make it “LLAMA” not only because llamas are cute (although I do find them intimidating) but also because the blog would have some sort of a mascot to represent it. As for “SODA,” well, there happened to be an empty soda can that I saw on the floor, and that’s how LLAMASODA came to be! Is it a stupid name? Yes, very much so. But I think a stupid blog name is very much fitting for a stupid blogger, and on top of that, it is still miles better than my old blog’s name: IO+NU…

TLDR: LLAMA (last name is LAMA, LLAMAs are adorable) + SODA (found an empty soda can when brainstorming) = LLAMASODA

Q. WHAT CAN ONE EXPECT IN A LLAMASODA POST?

A. When reading a LLAMASODA post, one can expect millennial sarcasm, humor, and dad-tier jokes that drag on for too long. Aside from that, I aim to be as transparent, unbiased, and objective as possible. However, the objective part gets tricky as LLAMASODA mainly covers subjective experiences. I also aim to always bring a sense of fun and positivity to every post, as the objective is to share and support the many different places I encounter in my journeys, so that you, the reader, can be interested in going there yourself!
